Intravenous thrombolytic therapy is the most effectivemethod. However, its efficacy is very low in the case of strokecaused by occlusion of large intracranial arteries. Previous studiesof endovascular recanalization methods in the treatment of stroke, particularly randomized controlled trials (RCTs), such as IMS-3,SYNTHESIS Expansion, and MR RESCUE, have shown negativeresults. The results of other RCTs (MR CLEAN, ESCAPE,EXTEND-IA, SWIFT PRIME, and REVASCAT) published in2015 have shown that, in the case of careful selection of patientswith verified occlusion of large intracranial arteries, endovascularrecanalization significantly improves stroke outcomes.</p>strokeocclusionthrombolysisrecanalizationendovascularintraarterial techniquesthrombectomyинсультокклюзиятромболизисреканализацияэндоваскулярныевнутриартериальные методытромбэктомия[Володюхин М.Ю.
