The paper considers methodical and scientific approaches to the study of effects of different memoryenhancing drugs on synaptic activity of area CA1 of hippocampus. Special attention was paid to the modulation of longtermpotentiation, previously disturbed by hypoxia or alcohol perfusion, by peptide analogues of piracetam. It was demonstrated using patch clamp technique that one of these peptides, Noopept, increases inhibitory synaptic transmission, probably due to blockade of potassium channels in the terminals of inhibitory interneurons.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
С помощью метода локальной фиксации мембранного потенциала (patch clamp) показано, что один из этих пептидов (ноопепт) повышает ингибиторную синаптическую трансмиссию, вероятнее всего, посредством блока калиевых каналов в терминалях тормозных интернейронов.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>hippocampus</kwd><kwd>long-term potentiation</kwd><kwd>synaptic activity</kwd><kwd>neuropeptides</kwd><kwd>noopept</kwd><kwd>patch-clamp method</kwd><kwd>ionic currents</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>гиппокамп</kwd><kwd>длительная потенциация</kwd><kwd>синаптическая активность</kwd><kwd>нейропептиды</kwd><kwd>ноопепт</kwd><kwd>метод patch-clamp</kwd><kwd>ионные токи</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Виноградова О.С.
