Summary data are provided for deep brain stimulation surgery in Russia, as well as an analysis of the need for neurostimulation compared with the international data.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В статье представлен обзор наиболее актуальных вопросов, связанных с использованием технологий функциональной нейрохирургии в лечении пациентов с болезнью Паркинсона: исторические аспекты развития метода в мире и в нашей стране, обзор международных рекомендаций, долгосрочные эффекты нейростимуляции, вопросы рационального отбора пациентов на операцию.
